Just up the street from Jahns, Laurels was not one of these modern-day Kosher-style delis, it was genuinely Kosher. You could be thrown out if you ordered a glass of milk with your corned beef.

Like Gloria's Pizza, Laurels had a window that opened to Main Street from which you could buy hot dogs and kinishes. For more elaborate meals, you had to go in and sit down.
